Icon-Topo 2.1 – New Capabilities
Icon-Topo supports Mobile Unit (MU) mobility between HF Networks, enabling application communications over a wider area than can be achieved with a single ground station. It provides a web interface for operators to monitor, control MU locations and schedule movements, which in turn optimises the configuration of applications and HF components for efficient communication,

Overview
Icon-Topo 2.0 provides services focused on requirement of the shore-side systems. Icon-Topo 2.1 adds two new capabilities important for Mobile Units (MUs).
Icon-PEP Support
Icon-PEP provides routing of IP traffic from MU to HF Access Point (HFAP)/ shore. Icon-Topo 2.1 provides MU update of Icon-PEP configuration, so that when an MU moves between HFAPs, traffic will be correctly routed to the new HFAP.
ALE Network Support
Icon-Topo 2.1 Adds configuration of ALE addresses, including 3G and 4G ALE binary addresses. Icon-Topo updates the ALE Network configuration in Icon-5066, to contain the correct ALE addresses. This is critical to support MU movement between HFAPs when ALE addresses change. It is also convenient for HFAPs as it allows ALE addressing to be automatically maintained and will add ALE addressing of MUs that move to be supported by the HFAP.
General
A number of small improvements to the Icon-Topo UI have been made.
